The Experience

The Experience

In January of 2019, Kayla and her husband opened the doors to the beautiful small town bridal boutique, Tulle. Many folks are surprised to hear there is an upscale bridal shop in a town of 2200 people. The Tulle story begins with its unique building built in 1905. Over the years the building was home to a dance hall, appliance store, and hardware store. It became a bridal shop in 1985 called Russairs Veils and Tails and was a successful bridal shop for almost 30 years. In August of 2018, the building came up for sale.  In the initial walk-through, century old maple hardwood floors, cream city brick, and bead board ceilings peeked through carpeting, plaster, and suspended ceilings just waiting to be rediscovered and revived. For the next 4 months through sweat, dust, and love came forth the gorgeous boutique we see today with many family and friends having a hand in helping the building be brought back to life. The atmosphere at Tulle strives to bring our clients the feeling of being transported in time to an old and elegant shop while shopping for new and beautiful gowns.
